Bone Density
Other helpful labs are:
SHBG-To get an idea of % of hormone that is free or bio-available
TSHTo assess thyroid function. (It is also helpful to see free T3 and free T4 labs)
LH/FSH--To help assess menopausal status
25-OH-Vitamin D levelEspecially if low adrenal function and/or bone loss
Hematocrit--To assess iron level
Cholesterol / lipid panel
Hemoglobin A1cTo assess blood sugar control over last few months

The above are just suggestions that are helpful to me when assessing hormone status and overall aspects of health that affect hormone response. Some labs may not be covered by insurance, especially if the practitioner does not have a specific diagnosis code to go with the test ordered. It is up to the patient to check with their insurance for coverage.)
