Fibromyalgia is a painful disease that affects more women than men. It is characterized by musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, sensitivities (to temperature, foods, medications, odors, noise, bright lights), and sleep, memory, concentration and mood issues. The pain can fluctuate, or come and go altogether. There are medications that are used to treat the pain associated with fibromyalgia. As an alternative to traditional therapies and with our state of the art compounding laboratory and pharmaceutical experience, we have the ability to compound amitriptyline cream. This cream can be applied directly to the site of pain and can be prescribed in various strengths. The advantage of the compounded amitriptyline cream over traditional prescriptions is that it helps avoid several unwanted and unhealthy side effects, such as gastrointestinal upset and inflammation, weight gain, and negative effects on the liver and kidneys.

Talk with our compounding pharmacists in Loveland, Ft. Collins, and Longmont to learn more about compounded amitriptyline.
